Incorrect engine timing M62TU

Hi there!!

I am going insane with my E53 M62 2001. After my engine service (engine and Tranny completely removed and back in) INPA tells me that I do not have a Crankshaft sensor signal. So its cranking but not starting up. Also I noticed today that when the key in the ignition and ignition is on and the driver door is open there is no beep beep....shouldnt there be one??

I checked everything regarding the Crankshaft sensor....Crank sensor resistance is 629 Ohms, it generates 2Volts when cranking and the tone wheel is new. The wiring up to the DME is ok. Now I am wondering......if the engine timing is out, can it be that the engine gives you that error code. I was told in another forum in that case (engine timing off) it says crankshaft sensor spec out but it does not says "no signal". Does anybody know it for sure?
Cheers
