Yeah well I tried it first with the old sensor and it wouldnt start (the old sensor worked until I took the engine out) and then I got one OEM from FCP with the same result.
First I bent the flexplate while trying to undo the jesus bolt and replaced the flexplate with a new (used) one. The old one (which was bent in 2 spots, one of these spots was the elongated rectangular whole) was reading faulty according to my BMW dealer so I put another used one in. I had a good look at it and it was in good nick. I am digging into oscilloscope at the moment and see what kind of oscilloscope to get or what kind of software for my laptop. I got a good understanding what it does but need more info whats good for me.
