Much appreciated clavourion, time to research the terminology you used guide vanes rod etc and where from above i can see what you refer to, sorry am a novice most diy i have done is remove readd front bumper

Ps must have cracked manifold as on cold start i observed smoke in area...just odd that the timing of power loss has not coincided with when i noticed the smell in cabin of fumes/due to the manifold issue
