Thanks for the link. I have read similar but not as colorful articles that concluded the same thing. My own test drives yield the same results and like this article, sum it up as "the IS is an extremely well presented and polished product but that's not the same thing as being a great car."

I'm set on the 3er. Now it's a matter of pulling the trigger on the right deal.
