E70 power steering leak - seals replaced still leaks

Hi there. We are having some issues with our beloved 2007 E70 3.0 with adaptive drive. The e70 does NOT have active steering.

The power steering is leaking at the point where the metal lines return to the upper part of the rack and are held in place with a triangle shaped metal plate and torx screw. I attached a picture from on-line as it is better than the angle I can get on the car.

This first happened about 2 months ago. I released the metal plate and replaced the O-Rings at the end. 2 weeks later it leaked again on the upper line, this time I added a second o-ring (which I would normally not do). 2 weeks later it leaked again and I replaced the lines with aftermarket lines which had new o-rings on them. 3 days later it leaked again, this time on the lower line - checked the o-rings which have no sign of damage or swelling and this time I tightened down the plate holding the lines in till it sat flush. that was good for about 2 days and here we are.

I'm at a loss for what is causing this. Using an inspection mirror I see no damage to where the o-ring seats. Looking on realoem I don't see any sort of pressure accumulator or other componentry. best guess is that the pressure is building up and causing the leak as it is exceeding what the seals can hold.

thoughts on what could be causing this?
