Changed most of the vacuum hoses around the turbo and the pressure converter (next to the turbo, not the egr one under the intake manifold).
Next will check the exhaust manifold for cracks with an endoscope, but not sure it's that as i have no smoke under the hood..
With an obd scanner i get around 21psi when the turbo really kicks in, no idea if it's a good value.

Wish I could help, all i can chime in with is if you had the manifold leak yup black soot in area is clear...other than that same issue as you...probably will take it to guy who did manifold and ask him to do once over on hoses etc and the pressure converters
