I stuck a wire bypass in and it did not go away. My theory now is that the front brakes have also simultaneously worn down. The last time I checked them was when the light came on about 6 months ago, and it looked like the rears were the culprit at the time. Now it looks like the fronts might be worn down enough to trip the sensor. Sure wish there was a way that the car would tell you which axle was to blame.
