My steering column in my X5 E70 stopped working in both directions all at once immediately following a trip in the Long Island Sound Ferry. Large waves constantly triggering the alarm system. Ended up replacing the battery after that trip but my steering column stopped prior to battery replacement. I can hear each motor click/clunk when engaging the switch so I believe the motors are getting power. Is there any type of reset sequence I can try? Seems impossible both motors would go bad at the exact same time. Thanks, Rich
