Hello guys, I know this is an X forum, but you seem to be the most knowledgable in regards of audio and nav setups.


I retrofitted the E83 X3 DSP (DSP2) into my E46 Touring (with Carver subwoofers from Z4) and I have the 16:9 navigation with MK4 and BM54 running late 2005 firmware.


Now I have the problem, that my DSP setting dont apply. Neither to FM/CD or Bluebus over coax digital audio.


I even tried the X3 radio module from late 2007 model as its compatible with the E46 connector and can replace the BM54 1:1, but no change.


Is there something that could lead to this behaviour? A friend said to me, that his factory DSP equipped X3 E83 also did this after he replaced the amplifier/DSP unit and suddenly it started working again.
