Hi everyone:
I'm replacing the driver side rear window regulator because the rail clip and the cable were broken. While waiting for the new part to deliver, and out of curiosity, I re-plug the old window regulator and the bottom of the door's curtesy light back to check on the power but both the regulator motor and the light no longer work. It looks like the car computer shut the power off for the door. Is this normal/abnormal? Once I got the new regulator installed, how can I get the power back? Thanks!
