Fix it. I don't get the reasoning behind buying such a nice X5 to just drive it into the ground. These X5's are becoming difficult too find in decent shape because of people like you who do the bare minimum to keep it running and its pathetic. Sell it to someone who'll appreciate it and buy yourself something else.
