Who knows, once I get my garage remodel done and get back to my touring project I will have a nice space to record some videos, never say never!

I removed my Provent when I installed my hybrid turbo as I THINK that was the cause of my turbo smoking. It haven't reinstalled to confirm. With my stock PCV system on I will get a little smoke on start up and at initial idle but I am also now in CO where it is much colder than San Diego. The only other time I have noticed smoking is when on long 4,000+ft descents out of the mountains. The first time I hit the gas after coasting for a long time there is a noticeable puff of smoke. Honestly both scenarios seem fairly normal considering the unfiltered state of my engine. There is probably room to optimize it but as you noted changing the PCV system brings on new challenges.

My torque vectoring diff is not wired up and fully functional, it's essentially a beefy open diff at the moment. I have the external wiring harness and modules but haven't tackled building the wiring harness for the inside of the vehicle. I would love to get around to it eventually but TBH it's not on the priority list compared to other projects. So many projects so little time.

Ah, but the thought of being able to flash the X5 to RWD and have a torque vectoring LSD to play around with would be awesome.
PS: I wonder if there is any tuning you can do to the rear diff since it is electronic. Ex, you could have a torque-vectoring (stock?) tune which would be best for getting around corners but have a second tune that makes the diff act more like a traditional locking/LSD.

Doing forum posts to this standard definitely takes a lot of time (for which i am hugely grateful, and i think its one of great enthusiast resources available, definitely better facebook pages), and i have no doubt, doing youtube videos to this standard, would easily triple the time. In terms of camera and lighting setups, multiple angles, multiple takes and then editing; it could quickly becoming very frustrating and may take some of the fun out of working on your car; unless you enjoy that aspect of it.

The smoking isn't a big deal for me, i just notice it more during the winter months, and if do a few quick bursts at traffic lights. I just thought i would try to address it as best as i could. I found someone that added some material to the pcv valve, that sort turns it into a catch can, filtering the oil vapor out of the mixture.

In terms of the rear diff, i feel confident its tuneable, in fact different icm modules, probably are more aggressive, sending even more power to the outer wheel, to push it into and through the corner faster.
