Mieux que jamais!

"Better late than never" oui? Supr4 there must be something in the X5 air as we both found this today... Faliciations d'EU, Wisconsin.

My 2003 3.0 X5 has been stalling on downshifts after warm. I think I have this lurch others describe. Havent found a thread on this, what's the solution? Tranny ECU Software? what? transmisison will downshift and die before I can get rolling again. Engine runs roughly at this time.

No codes detected other than misfire. Another forum thread detailed potential vacuum leaks in the plastic intake tube downstream from the MAF sensor. So, Lundi, Monday I will remove the airbox and flex this big tube up and inspect for cracks or leaking vacuum leads.

Other ideas?
