Hey all! I have some chain noise coming from my 2005 E53 X5 N62 4.8IS. It actually sounds okay from the outside but when I remove the oil filler cap, I definitely hear some light chain slap happening. And a recent oil change showed no signs of plastic bits so hoping it just the tensioner and not the guides.

Anyhow, can anyone point me to the instructions to remove the tensioner? There is nothing on the web for the N62 and only a light mention on this site about having to jack up the engine to remove! Wondering why it is so diffictult to find anything on this engine. Bentley manual has nothing, web was a bust, and even ISTA did not have anything. I guess because it was a super-secret Alina engine at one point? lol.....
