Yes, the pdf is for cylinder head removal of which the chain tensioner is also removed and reinstalled as part of that process. Of course, you don't need to remove the cylinder head to remove the tensioner ... you're only interested to remove the tensioner and the info is right there and you just skip all the other unrelated steps!
