Walked out of work this rainy Saturday morning after 12 long hours to find a flat tire. I pulled out the original spare, the jack (that showed no signs of ever being used before) and my cordless impact and made fairly short work of the swap.
Took it to Discount tire on the way home and dropped it for full tire replacement. We found a bolt in the dead one and the 23-year-old spare was leaking too. I wasn't looking to spend $1700 on tires this weekend, but somehow that happened anyway. I had them replace the well-worn Pirellis that were on there when I bought it with a fresh set of Continentals. all five are now new and matching...
