I gave you the data on correct size tyres and Krunk has given you practical advice in saying that the 295/30 will indeed be too low/thin and wont offer you much wheel protection.
I believe Krunk has the 285/35 on his signature!It does feel your wheelarch better and will offer you more wheel kerb protection,although as I said it isnt the correct size.
Try to get your tyre place to fit on your wheel the size tyre we refer to and choose for yourself!Its really a personal decision !Good luck.
