N62 but I suspect similar differences.
The biggest problem is the oil pump chain is a different length and behind the timing chain so it's a lot of work to redo the timing just to swap the chain.
I'd have figured out a way to resize the chain. Easy enough to remove a pin just need to figure out how to reinstall a new pin and crimp so it's good as factory
