I thought there was a good chance the Range Rover L322 spring conversion struts would fit….not so? What did you end up doing then, and how? Would love to get some extra stroke up front. Mine spends most of its time on pavement and semi improved and dirt roads, but a properly taller strut would be nice.
Your limited slip solutions are very ambitious and would love to hear more about how you got the Range Rover transfer case to work, and what rear diff you used. The front is definitely a problem since it doesn’t seem anything is or was made to upgrade it.
How are your temps with that turbo, and how are you keeping the oil cool? Seeing your nice radiator and inter cooler work makes me think that while I’ve got some outstanding interior pieces and mods left to do on the interior still, the next significant project I’m considering is bringing my coolant temps down. Lots and lots of opinions on this, all valid to different degrees I suspect, but I’m settling into the camp that 105ish degrees is hot, and beyond that the pressures involved are exponential. I’ve also come to think that MAP cooling is just some bmw way to play their slice. The car runs super hot for emissions reasons, which robs power often when the DME has to control for predetonation, so they make a software workaround that cools it down further when needed, but which reacts too late. I’m eyeing the CSF Race e39 M5 triple pass radiator and an 80 deg thermostat. The E39 radiator would entail modding the tyranny cooler to an air to oil version. My CSF oil cooler mod keeps the engine oil at 90 to 95 degrees based on the t-stat in the filter housing, so another one of these should work fine on the tranny with an in line tstat.
