Today i took some time to fix the OFG, and have a peak on the valves, to see of some wallnut blasting is a good plan.
The inlet manifold, was not a very difficult job, only getting al the connectors out, was i bit of a puzzel.
With the manifold out the removal of the OFH was easy, but the bolt on the front naar the waterhose, was tricky, there was no room for the wrench nut. I try it with a spanner size 8, it fits perfect, now it was fairly easy to continue.
The inlet and valves didn’t look very clean, have seen worse. ( Engine has 200.000 Km )
But will make an apointment for blasting. ( picture is a bit bad)
I noticed that the valves on cyl 1,2,5 and 6 had more dirt on them than cyl 3 and 4.
Also cleaned the front of the Engine again, and did a good check on all pulley’s checking for dirt and peases off belt in the grooves. I found the spanner still a bit wobbeling, after a clean of all pulley’s it’s staddy. I used a very bright tourchlight for checking, and a Sharp pen for cleaning each grove.
I hope that all leaks are over now.
Almost forgot, I also did a little stage 1 tuning and a Xhp tune, that would be beter for the gearbox. For the tune the car was about 4 hours on the dyno.
Now day is at his end now, next job paint scratches and stone damage repair.
