What scanner do you have? It is the best tool you can have.
A bidirectional scanner like a foxwell nt-510, nt-520, ista-d, etc is what you want because many scanners can't gi into 2nd level menus and can't reset the codes.

Thanks that is really useful I'll have a look.
The scanner is an INPA compatible scanner and using Bimmergeeks copy of the software. Have been very cautious as I've read you can do serious damage if you don't know what you're doing
