Thanks! I tried a really powerful blowdryer - didn't work... Maybe a heat gun will do it...
Glad you said something about the lubricant. I guess I made a weird choice using powdered graphite. The door panel is still open, I'll try to vac/blow that out and get some silicone... Thanks for your help!
BMW should hire you as a consultant to help with their design flaws. When I had Dodge Vipers, they used to listen to us, what issues we had, what broke at the track. All the way down to the colors offered. It was an amazing partnership between the owners and the Factory.
