Definitely on my to-do list. I put new B4s shocks in the back, with all new misc parts a few months ago and can really tell a nice difference. The shocks that they replaced could have been the original ones. I'm planning new B4 struts and all new misc parts like the bearings, etc. as I know they are original.
Hopefully in a few months I'll get to this project.
Between troubleshooting my X5 being unable to idle today without dying, this arrived, along with the silly inserts that the twisty fasteners built into it, lock into. Last week I got sick of this piece rattling around due to all the fasteners being stripped and/or worn out.
I had to tape the hinge side of the air filter cover back on with RV butyl tape because I wasn't going to spring for a new upper cowl piece, but it hasn't been this secure in a decade. Popped a new air filter in while I was at it.
