To answer your earlier question, if the cold weather CCV was working for you for so long (with no caked-up mayo) then buy another one of those. Even in Texas I would suggest the cold weather version.
Did you figure out where those connectors go yet? The three-pin one might be for the mass air meter, but I might be wrong. I can go look later if you haven't got them figured out.
