Sure can not help you with the 48 state vs BMW, only St Louis has emissions check in MO. I can say $11k + $4k is a lot, but do not disagree with you on being worth it. I guess how long will it last, how much is it worth 5+ years from now. 100% agree about the idiocy and control/money grab with the SCR/DEF/DPF B. S.
