And she's back again... Codes 67, E4 & E3 :wow:
I replaced the fan clutch, took the X5 (2002 - 3.0i, auto) for a ride to drop my Caddy off at the dealer. On the way back, I got a Check engine light.
Hooked up my scan tool and I have 3 concerning codes that sound really bad.
67 DME: VANOS Inlet Camshaft, end position not reached
E4 DME: Fuel Trim Bank 2, permissible range exceeded
E3 DME: Fuel Trim Bank 1, permissible range exceeded
Driving consisted of neighborhood roads to freeway (65mph max didn't beat on it).
Vehicle actually felt fine, I didn't detect any rough idle at stoplights or while I was in a drive through. Nothing seemed out of sorts. No sputtering, rough idle, no bad smell...
What do you guys recommend? It's been sitting for a few weeks, should I clear DTC codes and see if they come back immediately? or???
P codes seem to be P1519, P1188, P1189
Thanks so much!
