CPC Performance Engineering in Amersham near London took the car and inspected it. It turned out that the eccentric valve shaft had a lot of wear. They adjusted the motor on the left bank, so the knocking is gone for now. They advised that if comes back, the shaft will need to be replaced, which is an expensive job... I'm sorry but there is no such thing as 'adjusting' the eccentric valve servo motor. they must have done something else like reset adaptation/relearn.
When your eccentric valve shaft is worn, you can perform ISTA/D eccentric intermediate lever wear test to determine. the solution is your replace all parts.
