I prefer DIS for my E53 and E39 diagnosis and SSS and NCS for programming. INPA works great too but DIS is thorough, friendly and guides in troubleshooting. It runs on a VM, and that makes things easier as you can save machine state and revert to it or last-know-good-state when things stop working. ISTA-D and P are for my E92. ISTA-D and E-Sys are for my F15 and F86. I'm trying to install ISTA and E-Sys on a VM so that I can be able to save machine state and revert when things stop working.
