When I had bare aluminum wheels on my motorcycle I could only clean them with a phosphoric acid based cleaner.

I lost my finger prints from the rinse water so it's pretty crazy strong. If they still sell it you can prob use to clean the pits but spray with some clear coat or it'll tarnish very quickly
