The seal was probably a little excessive. After several brake cleaner wipes, it was a small area that was allowing air/oil residue to escape. Not enough to set off engine codes. Since I had a big tube of RTV, I went down the entire seam. Yea, I will replace it. Dang, after all the coolant refresh its a little upsetting. It could have been replaced. I guess moving it around and cleaning it was a little too much.
I'll have to dig up info on the aluminum valve cover. Mine has a new CCV system. Can it be incorporated?
