What happens if you pull the brake button until you are completely stopped? I've tested as e brake but think i let go before zero mph.

There is hardware that keeps the brake locked vs. that which just grabs the brake so quite easily can break Ina way the e brake works but not p brake.

Yes that’s a good way to put it, works as emergency but not as parking brake. Not moving nothing happens at all, no sounds or action. Possibly a chime to show the brake malfunction light from time to time.

The car will come to a complete stop but as soon as I let go it starts rolling again. I’ve also tried all ways to reset the parking brake, and replaced the switch in the center console.
