I had a faulty passenger seat sensor that kept setting codes, so I bought a "Seat occupancy mat Tester bypass for BMW" off of Ebay awhile back. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Seat-occupa...-127632-2357-0
It did the trick https://xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-forums/...ight-dash.html, but it is advertised to work on X5's thru 2004, only. Here's a link to an emulator that'll work on all E53 and E70's: https://www.ebay.com/itm/325409883733
For about $20, why not give one a shot?
