the Beemie has started making a bit of a mechanical noise lately, it sounds a bit like I'm driving on offroad tyres and it's speed related not RPM related....

also at hard acceleration I sometimes get a shudder from the back of the car.

My suspect would be drive shaft bearing and transfer box.... any other suggestions? (I'm no car guy clearly)
