Yep same here! I actually got a roof mount and put it on top of my mazda sedan now. And I don't have to clean the car out half as much either.


Hitch-mount racks are convenient, but they're very expensive and you are locked into the number of bikes you can transport. I have kids so I wanted to be able to add more racks in the future without spending another $1,000+. In fact if that time comes I may just build a hanging hitch-mount rack from scratch. Hard to stomach paying $1,200 or more just to put bikes on the hitch!
