You should be able to fish out the other end of that wire and splice it. Easiest splice is a Telefone butt splice they are weather resistant and you just squeeze the connector.


You can use test six to monitor the left tank in the meantime to determine fuel quantity. Once you get below 27L all the fuel is in the left tank anyhow.
