You can use test six to monitor the left tank in the meantime to determine fuel quantity. Once you get below 27L all the fuel is in the left tank anyhow.
The E83 (X3) tank doesn't appear to have the siphon, although it does appear to have the dual fuel level sender units - total volume is only 67l so maybe the left/right values will be very different?
