Timing chain guides fail when chain tensioner is not replaced often enough. I've seen m62 go 250,000 mi original guides.

N62 is not as bad and if you change tensioners x2 at 100,000 miles and every 50,000 after that you prob never have to change the guides.

I think 4.4 went to n62 ≈ 2004 so the big ticket maintenance will be valve stem seals. They seem to fail between 80-120,000 miles. If you are decent DIY you can do that yourself and I'd change the seals on the valley pan pipes at the same time.

That's a very young motor I wouldn't sending guess buying as long as it years ok including looking at the oil for specks.
