Mine won't do that. Is it a setting in the head unit?

My new (as of last June) fob has never worked more than maybe 25ft from the car.

The fob for my F30 does it, but I had to code it to do the opposite: close everything by holding the roundel button.

As for what I did to it today, nothing. I'm driving a 16' box van full of my junk to Louisville KY on Monday and have been a crazyman for a week packing stuff up. Fly back Weds, pack up the X, and hope nothing blows up like last time (f'ing Chinesium water pump).
