Hey everyone, been a while. As my E53 is now over 20 years old and sitting at 225,000 miles, things are bound to wear out. Window regulators, door handle carriers have been my nemesis lately and I understand, the Genuine BMW parts served their purpose for many years.
But it seems lately that anything that breaks is always on a Friday and today it is the
driver door handle carrier. So ordering any kind of parts today, delays any repairs into next week.
So for the next 5 days, I have to enter the passenger side and reach across to open the door from the inside so I can walk back around the X to finally get in.
I love my X5 but it seems like my baby just wants to screw with me and laugh about it for days.
