Can’t piece together what’s happening with door locks and alarm

Having a problem I can’t figure out on 2006 3.0. This started last week when the car was parked outside my office. Not sure if this is related, but it was downpouring at the time. When I went out to the car I noticed the doors were locked which seemed strange because I never lock it when parked there. A bit later the alarm started triggering. I disarmed it with remote the and also realized it had locked itself. Within a minute it locked itself again and the alarm immediately started sounding. This cycle continued and could not be stopped. Finally I went out and just started it (with the hatch open so I could get in if locked again) and let it run while I tried to figure out what to do. Even though it didn’t seem related, I did disconnect the hood switch which had no effect. Finally I pulled fuse 13 to stop the alarm from sounding and shut it off. On the way home the “door open” warning popped up a couple of times.

The battery is recent, but I did test it, and the alternator, under load and both are fine. The door open warning continues to pop up randomly when I drive and it has locked itself every time I go to it. I can’t wrap my mind around what could cause this so I’m reaching out here to see if anyone has an idea? Thanks.
