Mine had the same issue after a coolant refresh.
The problem is transmisson oil lines move causing the cooler to teeter. A temporary fix of using a large zip tie secured the lines from moving. Since the temp fix worked, I made a bracket to secure the lines better. OEM seals were used too. Install the main holding clip. Using the clutch fan spanner wrench, I was able to snap in the cooler. Secure the transmission lines after cooler installation.
