I got a set and tried one side on the M5 yesterday and yes the OEM's are indeed brighter and the PIAA bulb produces a bluish/white color that's totally invisible in daylight.

But they're NOT cheap in terms of build quality, it's actually pretty neat and a true Plug N Play replacement for the OEM's and they DON'T fluctuate with slow engine speed.

The only main issue is the brightness and I would even keep and recommend them if the brightness were at lease the same as the OEM's. Since they're not, it's going back to BavAuto...

Hope this helps to potential buyers of this product, will post some pics tomorrow.
