I've done a thread on how to do the blower motor replacement either on here or drivers.co.uk can't remember as I did mine a few months back.
All these fairytale stories about leaving this bit in ect are incorrect.
The centre console can be left in the car but it still has to be totally detached too move it rearward so the main dash can be disconnected from it (it becomes obvious when actually doing the job).
Yes the dash speaker cables are easy to forget as they are tricky to get to but everything else is kids play - just plug it all back in as you go along.
Its an easy job it just needs a bit of time, patience and space to open the doors wide to get the dash out.
