Mine still has the same MAF from two years ago. I need to check my spreadsheet. I think it has over 25k miles now. I've almost had my X for 27k miles. The codes above are the first since installing the cheap MAF. The codes were caused by me. The loose connection past the MAF and loose filter clip.

What are your BMW specific codes? My Foxwell Pro 520 gave me E3/34. Codes are caused by several possible symptoms. The BMW ECM is "smart" enough to know the cause of generic ODBII codes, at least for the codes above.

If you like, I'll send you my OEM one. It's in a box collecting dust. If the MAF on mine fails, I'll replace it promptly. I think I have enough knowledge to test a MAF sensor for replacement.
