Is my Transfer Case really dead?
The ongoing saga. Started with 4x4/dsc warning light plus Transfailsafe. BMW diagnosed leaking mechatronic connector. Changed, 2 days later same symptoms. Same scan results. They say it's the transfer case. At home, changed the actuator, inspected inside the old one, cog in perfect condition. Changed oil in TC. TC won't calibrate now due to 'other faults exist'. Input to module under rear seat has 2.3v, 2.6v 14.4v and 12.4v accordingly, so I'm guessing the Can is correct. Alternator replaced (Bosch), battery good.
Is there somewhere else I should try before having the TC replaced?
