UPDATE: I think the excessive smoke was just due to leftover oil in my intercooler. After a few days of driving oil stopped dripping from the downpipe, and I no longer get smoke on startup. I'll be installing an upgraded intercooler next week, so I didn't bother pulling it out to clean it. If I were keeping the stock intercooler I would definitely clean it out though.
