I know you weren't, but the only difference is the payload in the warhead as that particular missile was hypersonic going up to attack space born targets not like the Russian one that becomes hypersonic ballistically. If you'd like to know look up "supercavitation" for torpedoes....
Yes upon breakup of the Soviet Union, Ukraine held 70% of the Soviets nuclear arsenal and gave up the weapons with the world's guarantee that they would be protected from Russian aggressions. But they got screwed over by the Obama administration who helped (with election campaign strategies [emoji849]) install a leader who had ties to the dobrnsk area and allowed the annexation of Crimea (2014) and then basically led the UN in sending a mildly worded letter to Russia.
