There are some good "troubleshoot a parasitic draw like a pro" type videos on the you tube. I've not had to do it yet, but any day now.

The abs codes are not in the DME. Is your scanner doing the entire car? I have a little Bluetooth thing that only does the DME. I have been playing around with this topdon topscan, $60 Bluetooth scanner, not bad, but I might just stick with ISTA.

I am in the process of fixing a soft break pedal. Repeated attempts to bleed aren't doing it. It stops, but the pedal isn't right. I can't find any leaks. The master cylinder is suspect, and I see rust on the booster. When I came to a hard stop the idle fluctuated strangely.

Ordered a new reservoir, master cylinder, booster, rear pads and rotors (did the fronts last year). Debating on the rear calipers. Ordered the nickel copper line and some flaring/bending tools.

The dealer quoted me 5k to replace the brake pipes, talking about dropping the rear subframe and gas tank, which I've since found out is not really necessary. just the only way they are authorized to do it. Hopefully I can pull this off. I figure if I can build a short block, I can replace some long metal pipes. I found some good threads here in the archives on this, looks easy enough.
