my "get me home" patch with JB Kwik on my radiator is starting to leak after 16 months and 17,000 miles.
I'll be redoing with the regular JB Weld soon.
I put a tiny screw in the hole first to hold back the coolsnt while the JB Kwick cured.
It was 36F=2.222 c so i used a min. torch to warm the spot first and it took two tries, chemical cleaning want effective i had to buff with wire brush to take off the oxide layer.
Even after 16 months the leak is so slow that i only know it's leaking because of the UV dye.
(It's never wet, just a growing spot of fluorescent green around the patch).
