workingonit is on a distinguished road
I'm no longer my mom-in-law's favorite driver (after 32 years)

We're taking her to a family event, and she requested the X5. It came as a surprise, since we ALWAYS take the Lexus (not my choice).

So, the X5's mileage should reach 342.5k by June 1. That equals 212250 miles, in the US.
Took the X5, as promised, and after a 101 mile turn-around, the mileage now stands at 212040. As usual, I had previously guessed wrong on my mileage in other posts, so I wrote it down this time.

I've had the X for 1486 days and 2031 miles, equalling 1.367 miles per day.

Oh, here's another thing about the mom-in-law transport trip. We left the ranch late, due to one of her great-grandsons failing to get there in time to go with us, and I was urged to drive fast (as a confirmed lead-foot and dragstrop 'champeen', I don't need much encouragement). The old lady and my wife were shouting different directions at me (I should've used Google Maps), so I had to make some quick manuevers at critical last-minute turns, and the old lady was not appreciative, I guess, and decided to use her other daughter for return transportation to the ranch. I'm not the designated driver of choice anymore...OK by me.

Otherwise, despite not feeling well all day, I enjoyed driving the X5 again (still one of the best rides I've had), and even the wife liked the trip home, in 38F A/C, with her seat reclined. I've tried that in the passenger seat of her Lexus, and decided that I must see the road and can't snooze, like she can.
